We have converted this Terberg terminal vehicle into a roll-off tipper with a hook lift. The robust vehicles are already in use as tractor units in many major ports. Compared to trucks, they offer numerous advantages as “yard vehicles”: for example, they are less susceptible to repairs, require fewer electronic components and in terms of exhaust gas aftertreatment, they are designed similar to construction machines and are ideally suited for short distances on the company premises. Our Terberg Terminal tractor is used to move containers and unload ships. For this purpose, its frame was lengthened and fitted with a new roll-off tipper body.
